Hey guys,
Happy
Spring! After a week spent in NYC I've decided I shall spend every
April in that magical city. Then I will come back to LA and do a juice
cleanse (while eating chocolate that I bought in NYC).
Well, lots
of things are going on and I have some cool pics to share from the last
couple events we did. I hosted a Red Carpet movie premier in LA called
"CAMP." Lucy filmed a Tide commercial that will air on Nick Mom. They
loved her so much they came over to our house the next day and brought
her a mermaid barbie. I think she likes showbiz.
Ron's
children's series filmed his first episode. We're not sure yet if it
will be on TV or the web. I teamed up with the amazing Angela Hoover to
film a new TV pilot presentation called "Mom Land." We're hoping this
will end up also on the new Nick Mom network showing comedy shorts all
about motherhood. The pic below was shot in a bathtub with Ruby and Lucy
playing my kids as I was a "multi-tasking mom." We had to shoot it
twice and I had to bribe Lucy with candy to get her in the tub two
times. Such a diva!
I'm excited to be heading to Philly this
weekend for a couple shows and then come home to collaborate with some
awesome LA Comedians on another possible TV comedy project. I so
appreciate the prayers for all of our projects to keep us here close to
home working in film and TV. I thank you so much and ask you to continue
praying for favor with network execs and producers and casting folks.
I'm
so excited this month to be back in my home town of Northville,
Michigan, for a show. Please, Michigan folks, come laugh with me for a
wonderful comedy fundraiser for kids on missions, May 18th. It's going
to be a special night because I invited my very first acting teacher
Mary Bremer to attend the show and she hasn't seen me do comedy yet.
This month is my 10 year anniversary in comedy and it's really flown by.
I think Ron might buy me either jewelry or a cake...or a cake with
jewelry in it.
