Hi all!
I
remember the Thanksgiving right after Lucy was born. I think I didn't
know my name yet and had lost most of my braincells from giving birth
and lack of sleep. Ron and I had elaborate Thanksgiving plans to be with
friends and family but we had one of our famous "Loud Discussions!" It
went like this:
Kerri: Ron, I can't believe you forgot to feed the baby. Now she's gonna die of thirst and not get into college!
Ron: Stop yelling!
Kerri: You stop yelling!
Ron: You've unleashed the beast in me, Kerri.
Kerri: Did you just quote a Taco Bell commercial?
Ron: Maybe.
Kerri: Now we've missed our beautiful Thanksgiving plans.
Ron: Want to go to Dinah's Diner and skip it altogether?
Kerri: Yeah, I'll get the baby. I love you, honey.
Ron: Me too. Let's get some grub.
So
this year with our crazy schedules and the fact that I'm flying to
Toronto the next day, we've decided to boycott Thanksgiving and go back
to Dinah's with our two kids and see a movie. Crazy? I think not!
Jealous are you? I think yes! You can join us if you like.
Wee
survived "Rocktober" with birthdays for Lucy, Ruby and Mommy. We've been
to so many states I can't even remember to list them all. Today we're
all flying to Georgia for a great event, then onto North Carolina for
another awesome night of fun. I was in Nashville last month visiting 3
top book publishers about new book deals, with some exciting prospects
happening there. Please keep that in prayer because I'm really
passionate about the new books I've been working on.
We are fired up for November and Ron just had a great audition yesterday for a Disney TV show, "Austin and Ally." I'm
thankful for each of you who took the time to read to the end of this
update, and thankful that you listen to my stories and pray for our
family as we "hit the road again!"
Below is a special video of
Ron dressed up for Halloween as the Korean interenet dancing sensation.
