Hey Guys,
Now
that you've gotten all the Christmas newsletters our of your Spam Box
and those encouraging "Go Get 'Em" New Year's emails about how this is
your year to lose 10 pounds, take up a new hobby, and read the bible in
one year--here is your letter from us which will probably not be
encouraging or cause you to lose weight.
In
fact, I'm just excited "Biggest Loser" is back on TV and I can sit and
watch other people work out while I eat my ice cream and pirates booty! I
do think I'm setting a good example, though, because my daughter Lucy
sat on Santa's lap and told him his belly was too big and he needed to
work out more like Biggest Loser! He didn't bring her the castle she
asked for either so we all learned something this year. Here is a
picture of my new outfit and coat my mother Barb bought me. Her quote:
"Well, Beyonce would wear these pants! So can you!" So now I'm the
new"Comedy Christian Beyonce" and that's exciting.
We had a
jam packed Christmas season and thanks to God we were working and
healthy a ton. This is a pic of Ron and our new friend Cajun Chef Tony
Forbes in Arkansas. It was written into our contract he was to cook us a
Cajun meal after the show and he delivered a feast of catfish and gumbo
with homemade desserts--thanks to him and his wife. YUM! Yes you can
get a booking discount for feeding us home cooking.
Also
I got to do some live cooking demos--speaking of cooking--with
celebrity chef James Brisione and his wife Brook Parkhurst (see pic
above). You may remember him as the winner of "Chopped Champions." They
were promoting their new book and I got to host the event and learn to
make pancakes. I particularly enjoyed all the free tastings. It brought
back memories of all my "Costco" dinners with my mom on Sun afternoons
eating free samples.
Ron has a call-back for a new NBC sitcom
this week. It's down to him and just a few other guys to play the role
of "Cousin Ranaldo" with Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider. Yes
he's supposed to be Latin but I told him Korean is so close he can nail
it! LOL! Lucy is back to auditioning for commercials because she's 4 and
we told her she has to get a job if she wants to pay for pre school
this year.
Well, we're back on the road this coming week and our
CA fans can catch me in Fresno on January 13th and Visalia on January
14th . (Click here for my full calendar.)
Then we'll be doing the Women of Worth conference with an all star line
up Jan 21st and back up to northern CA again for some more fun events
the end of the month. We're hitting Georgia,Ohio and Florida to name a
few stops in Feb and we're thinking the Florida trip will make up for
the snow we'll have in Ohio. We're speaking at one of our favorite
colleges, Malone College, and doing a few comedy shows in the area as
well.
We are still open on Feb 13 and 14th if you want to put
together a Valentines Event for any type of audience. We are also booking
up spring and summer tour dates right now..remember: "Feed Us And We
Will Come!"
Ok if you've made it this far thanks for reading. You're a true fan and we love you best! Thanks for your prayers of protection, favor and divine appointments in 2012!
